I joust with the Dark Knight,
the dark one on the Dark Horse
waiting in dark recesses of soul,
waiting, cat-like , for the mouse
who, thinking all safe and quiet,
ventures forth, hungry for life.
Donning his dark helmet
The Knight sallies forth to do battle.
His visor descends, a fortress- like gate.
catching the little mouse in the castle.
Run, little mouse, run!
But run to the light
for you are in the Castle of the Grail.
And Shadows cannot live in the Light.
