SSC10 Anthroposophic Studies in Health and Nutrition
Lectures by Tazo, Rudolf Steiner, Dr Schmidt, E. Pfeiffer, Dr E. Kolisko, and other Students of Anthroposophy
Study here the Principles of Health and Nutrition as defined by Rudolf Steiner and his spiritual science. We will also study the Biodynamic forces of nature in order to get a clearer idea of how Man interacts with Cosmic Forces and Planetary and Stellar Alchemy.
Why The Biodynamic Approach?
This course is a breakthrough as it moves us inwardly to become active participants in the cosmic activity of our nutrition. From a spiritual perspective men have lost the idea of the Spirit in Nature. In this course the flowing of Cosmic Aether via our Aether body gives us the foundation to build our spiritual sense organs. Spiritual organs also require nutrition - aetheric nutrition - or this portion of our human nature withers - in the same way any organ, when not properly fed will arouse our attention.
Our approach is not mechanical, but Spiritual. Material science would have us believe everything important is mechanical, but that is a false premise. A sensitive Man can combine substances to improve their value, or filter substances to achieve a more healthy effect, plus there is a big difference in effects when considering the planetary influences or whether it is night or day, summer or winter. All of these promote us to support a Biodynamic Approach to health and nutrition.
Which Organs Do You Need to Feed?
Vitamins, proteins, starches, fats and sugars should be examined as to their special pathways in the body, but also to the extent that one sees where they disappear from our view and reappear. This may seem strange until one throughly comprehends the stages of the transformation stages of material substances. These stages have a lengthy tradition behind them going back to ancient Greek philosophers and learned men of health and healing.
