Deep WisdomDeeper wisdom await those who dare to cross the line of conventional thought. From the Book of the Sayings of the Wise
Divination"But I will tell you another thing, son of the all glorious Maia and Zeus who holds the aegis luck bringing genius of the Gods. There are certain Holy Ones, three sisters, born of a virgin with winged heads besprinkled with white meal, and they dwell under a ridge of Parnassus. These are the teachers of Divination apart from me....From their home they fly now here, now there, feeding on honey-comb and bringing all things to pass. And when they are inspired through eating yellow honey, they are willing to speak truth; but if they be deprived of the gods' sweet food, they speak falsely, as they swarm in and out of each other. " Homeric Hymn 4, from line 550, translation by Hugh Evelyn-White
Don't Be Fooled by Inner Fears and DoubtsWhen Inner Fears and Doubts plague the student of the Spirit, he must feel this as a sign to look up and around the soul for the light of soul beings that maintain us and keep watch over us on our journey, and make sure our footsteps are on the path. Even if we have strayed off the path, look around and feel there the coming those most beautiful companions that we may have forgotten on the way. Once we experience them again, then our feet feel underneath them the light and the love for us and for our desire to be on the path of wisdom's light that will guide us when we look for it.
